When We Are Closed

If you need urgent medical advice and the surgery is closed please contact our out-of-hours emergency service on 111.

Urgent Care Centre

Patients who need to see a Doctor out-of-hours should go to the Urgent Care Centre located at Russells Hall Hospital.

The Urgent Care Centre offers non-emergency care for walk-in patients who have minor illnesses and injuries that need urgent attention. The Urgent Care Centre is staffed with GPs and nurse practitioners 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
